33 Iraqi oil tankers enter Jordan as Tarbiel border reopens

BAGHDAD, October 28 — The Jordanian Ministry of Energy announced the entry of 33 Iraqi oil tankers through the Tarbiel border crossing after a temporary closure due to Gaza-related protests.

Statement by the Jordanian Ministry accessed by 964 Network:

“The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources confirmed on Friday the full entry of Iraqi crude oil tankers through the Tarbiel border into the Kingdom. A total of 33 tankers have arrived, marking the final shipments of Iraqi oil for the current month. It’s worth noting that the Kingdom’s strategic crude oil reserves cover its needs for more than 44 days, and the petroleum products stockpile is sufficient for over two months.”
