BAGHDAD, October 28 — Miswag, Iraq’s largest hypermarket, has opened in Baghdad’s Al-Dora district, aiming to expand to locations across the country.
Zainab Haider, Media Manager for Miswag, told 964, “The hypermarket is the largest shopping destination in Iraq, covering an estimated 11,500 square meters. It provides everything individuals and families need.”
The store offers fresh meat, cheeses, pickles, soft drinks, nuts, vegetables, cleaning supplies, perfumes, cosmetics, kitchen essentials, and electrical appliances.
“Our prices are suitable and competitive, and we also offer significant discounts. The opening was attended by many residents from the Al-Dora area and neighboring regions,” Haider added.
Shopper Mariam Ahmed said she was able to find everything she needed in the hypermarket.
“I bought a lot of household items due to the huge discounts, in addition to the prizes and competitions. This market has an ATM, and its doors remain open for shoppers even after midnight.”
