Iraq’s weather remains hot and stable, light dust expected in desert areas

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority on Wednesday forecast continued hot and stable summer weather, with clear skies and some cloud cover over northern mountainous regions.

Temperatures will remain steady, with northwesterly winds ranging from 20 to 30 km/h. Winds may pick up in central and western areas, causing light to moderate dust, especially in desert regions.

Visibility is expected to range from 8 to 10 kilometers, dropping to 3 to 5 kilometers in dusty zones. Light rain is possible in parts of the Kurdistan Region.
