Parliament votes on Iraq’s membership in international date palm council
BAGHDAD, October 17 — The Iraqi Parliament voted on Tuesday to pass a bill for Iraq’s membership in the International Date Palm Council. Additionally, they voted on the re-establishment of the bill for joining the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Women Development Organization.
A statement from the media department, received by Network 964, mentioned:
“The Council of Representatives (Iraqi Parliament) has voted on a bill for the Republic of Iraq to join the basic framework of the International Date Palm Council.
The Council of Representatives has voted on the bill for Iraq’s membership in the basic framework of the Women Development Organization within the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.”
