Driver’s body found with multiple stab wounds in Al-Shatrah

DHI QAR — Security forces discovered the body of a driver with multiple stab wounds near his car in Al-Shatrah district, north of Dhi Qar, on Saturday, according to a police source.

“The police found the body of a man in his thirties who worked as a driver on the Najaf route. He was stabbed to death and his body was dumped near Al-Ammar village in Al-Shatrah district,” the source told 964media. “His car was found nearby.”

The victim had been hired for a ride at 10 p.m. the previous night and never returned home, the source said. His body was transferred to the forensic department, and police have launched an investigation into the killing.
