Iraq central bank reports over $279 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $279 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $9,800,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $269,457,935, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $279,257,935.
