Iraq Central Bank reports over $265 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $265 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.

Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $ 8,500,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $ 257,464,050, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $ 265,964,050.
