Iraq Central Bank reports over $270 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Sunday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $270 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.

Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $7,850,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $262,958,434, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $270,808,434.
