Iraq Central Bank reports over $283 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Wednesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $283 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $15,550,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $268,066,416, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $283,616,416.
