Tourist bus overturns in Duhok’s Geli Sherane

DUHOK – A bus carrying tourists overturned in the Geli Sherane area, located within the borders of the Derealuk district in Duhok, resulting in several passengers sustaining injuries.

Geli Sherane is known as a popular tourist destination.

According to the Masoud Boti, the deputy director of health in Amedi District, a total of 10 individuals have been injured in the incident. “Four of the passengers are in serious condition and are currently under medical supervision,” Boti told 964media.

Four seriously injured passengers may be transferred to a city hospital in Duhok, according to Boti.

The bus was carrying 20 passengers, six of whom suffered minor injuries.

It marks the second traffic incident in Geli Sherane this year, the first of which resulted in one death.
