Police arrest suspect in killing of 15-year-old boy in Sulaymaniyah

SULAYMANIYAH – A 15-year-old boy was killed in Sulaymaniyah’s Raparin Neighborhood last night, with police arresting a commando forces employee as a suspect.

Sulaymaniyah police, responding to reports of gunfire, arrived at the scene to find the teenager deceased. Following an intensive search and investigation, authorities identified and apprehended the suspect, confirming his employment with the commando forces.

The individual is currently detained on murder charges under Article 405 of the Iraqi Penal Code, pending further investigation. Additional details are expected as the inquiry progresses.
