Iraq’s central bank reports over $268 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $268 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $12,550,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $255,546,834. The overall sales totaled $268,096,834.
