Iraq’s central bank reports over $272 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $272 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.

According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $ 22,830,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $ 249,648,467. The overall sales totaled $ 272,478,467.
