Iraqi central bank reports dollar sales over $276 million
BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Sunday, which amounted to over $276 million in one-day transactions at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals reached $11,820,000. Meanwhile, the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, was $264,748,264. The total sales amounted to $276,568,264.
