Iraq’s central bank reports dollar sales exceeding $269 million
BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Thursday, which totaled over $269 million in one-day transactions at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, domestic cash withdrawals totaled $15,780,000, while foreign transfers, including remittances and credits, amounted to $253,663,117. The total sales for the day reached $269,443,117.
