Iraq’s central bank reports over $278 million in currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its currency sales on Monday totaled more than $278 million in one-day transactions at the official rate of 1,310 dinars to the U.S. dollar.
The bank’s data revealed total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to over $16.5 million. Meanwhile, the total of for foreign transfers, including remittances and credits, reached more than $261.5 million. Cumulative sales for the day topped $278 million.
