Central Bank of Iraq currency sales reach $257 Million

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales were approximately $257 million on Wednesday, with transactions at the official rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.

The bank’s data revealed that total domestic cash withdrawals stood at $13.19 million. Meanwhile, the total for international transfers, including remittances and credits, reached over $244.4 million, culminating in total sales of more than $257.59 million for the day.
