PMF in Babil respond to early morning attack

BABIL — Luay Al-Zamili, director of the Popular Mobilization Forces authority in Babil, said Wednesday that the authority had received messages from Muqtada Al-Sadr’s Peace Brigades, Saraya al-Salam, expressing regret over an earlier attack on a Popular Mobilization headquarters in Babil.

Al-Zamili emphasized ongoing dialogue with all involved parties and addressed rumors on social media about a deteriorating security situation in Babil. He assured that these claims were unfounded and not reflective of the actual security conditions in the region.
