Iraq’s central bank reports over $241 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Tuesday exceeded $241 million in transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars to the dollar.
Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to nearly $22 million. Meanwhile, the total amount transferred abroad, including remittances and credits, stood at just over $219.8 million. Overall sales for the day reachedmore than $241.8 million.
