Central bank announces foreign currency sales exceeding $205 million
BAGHDAD, January 28 – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Sunday that its foreign currency sales surpassed $205 million in transactions, based on the official rate of 1310 Iraqi dinars to the U.S. dollar.
Bank records showed that cash withdrawals totaled $21,220,000, while transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, amounted to $183,865,841. The combined total of these transactions reached $205,085,841.
