Clear skies and rising temperatures forecast through the weekend
BAGHDAD — Iraq will see clear, sunny skies Tuesday with scattered clouds over northern areas, the Meteorological Authority said, as central and southern regions record a slight temperature rise from Monday while the north holds steady.
Hot conditions will continue through the day with more moderate temperatures at night, and the pattern is expected to persist through the end of the week. Winds will be light to moderate and variable at 10 to 20 km/h, shifting to a light southeasterly direction in western areas. Visibility will range between eight and 10 kilometers.
