Iraq tax reform conference kicks off in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, December 6 — A conference on tax reform in Iraq is taking place in Baghdad on Wednesday under the sponsorship of Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa’ Al-Sudani, and with senior government officials in attendance.

Titled “Towards a Transparent and Fair Tax System,” the conference is scheduled to include discussions on tax policies, legislation, governance, automation, and tax administration and accountability.
