Iraqi transport minister: progress at Umm Qasr port projects

BASRA, October 18 — Transport Minister Razzaq Hadi said today that work at the Grand Faw Port is progressing excellently, with completion rates in various port projects reaching advanced stages.

Statement by Transport Minister Razzaq Hadi during his visit to the Umm Qasr Port for Network 964:

“Today, we are in the Umm Qasr Port to review the latest developments and completed work at the Grand Faw Port.
Among the essential port projects is the road linking Safwan to the Umm Qasr Port.
The completion rate has reached 51%, with a scheduled period of 45 months, and work began two years ago.
Our tour continues to various sites of the Grand Faw Port projects.”
