Iraq Central Bank reports over $280 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Wednesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $280 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per 1 U.S. dollar.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $6,100,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $274,203,453, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $280,303,453.
