Iraq Central Bank reports over $287 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Tuesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $287 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per 1 U.S. dollar.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $10,610,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $276,764,767, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $287,374,767.
