Iraq Central Bank reports over $265 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $265 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per 1 U.S. dollar.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $12,250,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $253,353,629, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $265,603,629.
